I pounded the following chilli paste: 20g dried chillies, 2 fresh chillies, 5 shallots, 3 candlenuts.
Ingredients: 1 cucumber, 1 carrot, 1 turnip, 2 pcs pineapples.
Method:
Cut all ingredients to strip. Add 1 tbl of salt to cucumber and carrot for at least 30 mins. Squeeze dry the cucumber and carrot. Cook the chilli paste, add 1/2 tsp of tumeric powder, 1 tbl of vinegar, dash of salt and 1 tsp of sugar. Taste the paste according to your preference. Turn off the fire, add all the vegetables to toss. Cool the dish and place it in the fridge. This dish will take at least 2 days for better consumption.
