Osmanthus Wolfberries Agar Agar by Emy Lee
Ingredients:
1 pkt of Rose brand agar agar powder
900 ml water + another small bowl of water
A handful of wolfberries 枸杞 (I used 3-5 wolf berries per cup
1.5 tbsp dried Osmanthus 桂花 (adjust to your liking)
honeycomb rock sugar to taste
Method:
1. Rinse the wolfberries and then soak in the small bowl of water. Put aside.
2. Bring the 900ml water to a low boil.
3. Then add in honeycomb rock sugar and dried Osmanthus and cook till the sugar is dissolved (you should also be smelling the light fragrance from the Osmanthus.)
4. Sprinkle in the agar agar powder. (If you dump it in, it will clump <don't ask how I know!>) Stir evenly while leaving it to boil for another 2 mins.
5. You can scoop and place 3-5 wolf berries into each cup.
6. Then pour the boiling mixture into each cup.
